Our Mission:

ALABAMA DEFENSIVE PISTOL ACADEMY, LLC

          The Alabama Defensive Pistol Academy, LLC offers firearms training and instruction to private individuals, law enforcement and members of the legal community.  The Academy has two outdoor ranges.  The ADPA Range One is located in Gadsden, Alabama, and ADPA Range Two is located near Alabaster, Alabama.  We provide private instruction for the new or advanced shooter, with classes designed for training in concealed carry, weapons manipulation and home defense.  We also offer training for law enforcement and have developed a curriculum for judges and other court personnel.  Emphasis is placed on the proper selection of firearms and equipment, manipulations training, proper mind set, accuracy training, and close quarters combat training.  Group or individual classes can be arranged.

          We also offer classes with emphasis in the competitive shooting arena.  Classes are available for the new to the advanced shooter, geared toward advancing skills for shooting in the International Defensive Pistol Association matches.

          Our primary goal is to provide intensive training for those individuals who seek to develop and improve their own self defense skills using a concealed weapon.
